Vishal Adeshara, MD, MPHCEO & Founder

Vishal Adeshara is the founder and CEO of Z Healthcare Solutions (ZHCS).

As a Healthcare industry leader, Vishal’s career spans over 10 years of interdisciplinary leadership experience as a healthcare executive. He has played an integral role in transforming struggling hospitals into thriving institutions within their communities by improving quality and financial outcomes. Many such Hospitals have received prestigious Joint Commission Top 100 Hospital status and CMS 4- and 5-Star Rating status.

Prior to ZHCS, Vishal served as Corporate Vice President of Care Management and Data Quality for a large for-profit Healthcare System. During his tenure, he oversaw and helped streamline the Case Management, Utilization Management, Denials Management, CDI, Coding and HIM Departments for 45 hospitals in 14 states. During his time, the Healthcare System achieved numerous quality awards, became a Truven Top 15 Health System and 8 Hospitals received “Top 100 Hospital” recognition.

Vishal has also successfully served as the National Vice President of Operation Improvement for Prospect Medical Holdings.

Vishal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS, equivalent to a U.S. M.D.) from M.S. University, Vadodara, India. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, majoring in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from San Diego State University, California.

Vishal also holds various professional certificates from AHIMA, including Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist – Physician Based (CCS-P) and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
